Public health is about helping people to stay healthy and avoid getting ill. The NHS works to provide training and information on a whole range of areas such as tobacco, immunisation, nutrition, alcohol, drugs recovery, sexual health, pregnancy and children's health.

This website aims to share the online learning programmes that are being developed as part of the NHS commitment to training.

The first of these training programmes is about helping people to stop smoking.

Stop Smoking Training

Helping someone to take that step toward stopping their tobacco use not only benefits their health, but improves their families and their communities' health in the short, medium and long term.

This training is aimed at ANYONE who would like to support and help their patients, family, friends and colleagues to become smoke free.
